Panel: Effective Community Mobilizing and Coalition Building

Join Illinois Collaboration on Youth and local community leaders—Kyana Butler from Southside Together Organizing for Power (STOP) and Cherice L. Price from the Resident Association of Greater Englewood (RAGE) and the Greater Englewood Development Corporation—for a conversation about how they have effectively mobilized and built coalitions to advocate for the needs of their communities. Panelists will discuss both the barriers and accomplishments in mobilizing and holding elected officials and institutions accountable for the communities they serve.
